Active principles:

• PALMITOILTRIPEPTIDE-8. Innovative active ingredient designed to counteract neurogenic inflammation in case of sensitive skin (INCI: palmitoyl tripeptide-8). It is a lipopeptide derived from a neuroendocrine protein present in the skin in response to local stress, an important precursor of the neuropeptides produced by our body to counteract inflammation; the peptide portion is linked to a lipid (palmitic acid) to facilitate its absorption. This active helps prevent and counteract the effects of neurogenic inflammation of the skin, a phenomenon which is a natural response of the body to the aggression of external agents, but can also be caused by internal factors such as stress and emotional states, and consists of a inflammatory response mediated by the release of neuropeptides, ultimately causing redness and swelling of the epidermis.

• BETAINE, a substance present in nature in sugar beets. It is an amino acid capable of attracting and binding numerous water molecules, performing a moisturizing action. It also has a repairing and protective action on the mucous membranes. Its excellent toxicological profile makes it suitable for even the most sensitive and delicate skin.
• Evening Primrose Oil, a precious substance obtained from the seeds of the Oenothera biennis plant, typical of North America. It naturally contains various fatty acids of the omega-6 group, such as linoleic acid and gamma-linolenic acid, which improves lipid content, hydration and reduces skin redness. This oil is used in cosmetics thanks to its emollient, moisturizing, decongestant and calming properties in case of irritated skin.

Contains:

• Powder obtained from the stem of the Bambusa Arundinacea bamboo. This substance performs a delicate mechanical exfoliation action, removing dead cells, impurities and any calluses. It promotes cell renewal, refining the structure of the skin, unclogging pores and promoting the penetration and effectiveness of subsequent treatments.
• Pineapple extract, known for its microcirculation improvement, soothing and anti-reddening properties. The active helps to dissolve the accumulations of liquids typical of inflammatory processes, stimulating their reabsorption, thus helping to fight the blemishes of cellulite.
• Willow bark extract (Salix Alba), rich in salicylin. This substance has keratolytic, anti-inflammatory and smoothing properties. It performs an exfoliating action useful for combating the processes of hyperkeratosis, responsible for thickening the skin.
• Betaine, an amino acid present in sugar beet capable of attracting and binding numerous water molecules, performing a moisturizing action. Its excellent toxicological profile makes it suitable for even the most sensitive and delicate skin.
• Sorbitol, a polyol derived from the reduction of glucose which, thanks to the presence of numerous hydroxyl groups, is able to attract many water molecules around it, performing an intense moisturizing action.

Active principles

• Allantoin, a substance that is used both in cosmetics and in dermatology for its dermo-repairing and epidermis regeneration properties. Finally, in combination with nutrients, it accentuates its regenerative properties.
• Panthenol, or provitamin B5. It is a precursor of coenzyme A, a fundamental molecule in metabolism. This substance has soothing and regenerating properties, helping to reduce redness and itching and promoting cell turnover. Its ability to attract various water molecules around it contributes to the maintenance of normal hydration and the natural barrier function of the epidermis.
• Cajeput essential oil, a plant belonging to the Mirtaceae family. This substance, rich in eucalyptol, has aromatic, tonic and invigorating properties.

Active principles:

• The sodium salt of pyrrolidinecarboxylic acid, an amino acid found naturally in many proteins, thanks to its structure is able to attract and bind numerous water molecules, a property that makes it an excellent moisturizer for the skin: it in fact part of the N.M.F. (Natural Moisturizing Factor), the skin hydration factor. The N.M.F. it is a mixture of substances capable of attracting and absorbing water and is found in the stratum corneum, the outermost layer of the skin, and serves to maintain correct hydration of the skin.

• Aloe barbadensis extract, a xerophilic succulent plant of the Asphodelaceae family and native to Africa. Thanks to the presence of polysaccharides, anthraquinones and nutrients, this precious extract carries out a moisturising, protective action against external agents, anti-ageing, skin regenerating, soothing and purifying.
